Haniesta is a UK-operated home décor brand offering handcrafted rugs intended for indoor residential use.

Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Site.

We may offer an account feature that allows login using an email address and a one-time verification code. We do not require passwords for this login method.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login codes sent to your email; and
• You are responsible for any activity carried out through your account or device.

7) Product Information and Handmade Variations

Haniesta rugs are handcrafted using natural fibres. As a result:

• Minor variations in colour, weave, texture, and size can occur;
• Such variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and are not defects.

We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately. However, colours and textures may appear different depending on your screen or device settings.

Product availability, descriptions, and prices may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to correct errors (including pricing errors), even after an order is submitted.

8) Prices, Promotions, and Payment

Prices All prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice. Placing an item in your basket does not reserve the price. The price charged will be the price shown at checkout at the time of purchase (subject to any errors we must correct). Payment Processing Payments are processed through Shopify’s hosted checkout and/or its payment partners (“Payment Processors”). We do not store full card details. By placing an order, you authorise Shopify/Payment Processors to charge your selected payment method for the total shown at checkout, including applicable delivery charges and taxes (if any). If your payment method is not authorised or accepted, we may cancel your order.

9) Orders, Acceptance, and Cancellation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline your order at our discretion, including due to:

• Product availability;
• Suspected fraud;
• Errors in pricing or product information; or
• Operational limitations.

An order is generally considered accepted once you receive an order confirmation and/or dispatch confirmation.

If we cancel an order after payment is taken, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

10) Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship within the United Kingdom (and may expand regions in future).

Dispatch is handled from our UK fulfilment operations. Estimated delivery timeframes may be provided at checkout and can vary due to factors outside our control (carrier delays, peak periods, weather, etc.).

11) Returns and Refunds

We offer a 14-day return window from delivery for eligible items, subject to conditions such as:

• Rug must be unused, in original condition;
• Returned with original packaging (where applicable).

Certain items may be non-returnable (e.g., custom-made or bespoke rugs).

Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned item, in accordance with our Shipping & Returns Policy.

12) Product Care and Safety

Our rugs are intended for safe indoor residential use when used as intended.

You are responsible for reading and following care and safety guidance, including (where relevant):

• Using a non-slip underlay to reduce slipping risk on smooth floors;
• Keeping rugs away from open flames/heat sources; and
• Following fibre-specific cleaning guidance (especially for jute and wool).

13) Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, product images, photography, design elements, and underlying code—is owned by or licensed to Haniesta and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, display, or commercially exploit any Site content without our prior written permission.

14) Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may rely on third-party services (including Shopify and payment providers) and may include links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites or services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.

15) Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee:

• That the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; or
• That product images will display identically across all devices.

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Haniesta will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability).

19) Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If a dispute arises, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
