At Haniesta, every rug carries a story that began long before us - in 1985, with a simple loom, skilled hands, and a belief in craftsmanship.
What started as a family-led rug and export business in the Subcontinent has, over decades, grown into a globally connected ecosystem of artisans, manufacturers, and design partners across the subcontinent and beyond.
Today, that journey continues from the UK - bringing timeless rugs to modern homes across Europe and the world.
Our roots lie in the early days of handcrafted rug manufacturing, when quality was built slowly and reputation travelled by word of mouth.
Through the years, we worked closely with weavers, craftsmen, and artisan communities - learning every stage of rug-making from fibre selection to finishing. With time came refinement. With refinement came trust.
As global demand grew, so did our collaborations - connecting workshops, exporters, and design sensibilities across borders, while staying true to the craft itself.
